Drivers 'want more traffic police'

60% OF MOTORISTS believe there are not enough police officers on the road to enforce driving laws, according to an RAC survey. More than half (51%) of drivers think it is unlikely that motorists will ever get picked up for texting while stopped in traffic. And 40% reckon they stand little chance of being stopped by police for aggressive driving, the poll of 1,526 drivers found.

Martin Smith has been guiding Ford of Europe's design efforts since he was appointed to the position of Executive Design Director in 2004, coming straight over from an illustrious career at General Motors. Tiggywinkles get help from Toyota

ANIMAL CHARITY Tiggywinkles has a new supporter in the shape of Toyota GB, who have donated a new Hilux pick-up to help with its work in rescuing and caring for sick, injured or orphaned animals. The new Hilux Double Cab Invincible model will replace another Toyota model that was donated 20 years previously, and has covered thousands of miles in the process. Tiggywinkles, based near Aylesbury, has been rescuing, treating and rehabilitating British wildlife for more than 30 years.
